Going for Gold
The Highest Honor in Girl Scouts
About the Girl Scout Gold Award
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, earned by fewer than 6% of Girl Scouts nationwide. It challenges young women to identify an issue they care about, take action to address it, and create a project that makes a lasting impact on their community and beyond.

This website is part of my Gold Award Project. By educating others about wolves, I am contributing to a long tradition of leadership, education, and service carried forward by Girl Scouts for over a century. Just as Girl Scouts before me have worked to make the world a better place—through projects focused on conservation, advocacy, and community improvement—I am proud to continue that legacy by spreading awareness about wolves and inspiring respect for these incredible animals.

My Girl Scout Journey
My Girl Scout journey began when I was just two years old, tagging along to meetings with my older sister’s troop, where my mom was the leader. From those early days sitting in on troop activities, I grew up surrounded by the spirit of Girl Scouting. Over the years, I’ve gone from Daisy to Ambassador—and this month, I’ll proudly bridge into being an Adult Girl Scout.

Some of my favorite parts of Girl Scouts have been the simple joys—like eating cookies—and the big adventures, like exploring different fields of interest, traveling, and spending time at camp. Girl Scouts has been more than just an organization to me; it has been a community, a place of growth, and a source of countless memories.
